So, I've been hired to work in the HR department at my dad's company, so this week has been one of those Last Week of Freedom type deals. It'll be another 8-5 job, unfortunately, but the work shouldn't be beyond my abilities, one of the two ladies I'll be working for is very pleasant (haven't met the other yet), and it will be pretty great indeed to get a paycheck again (and a bigger paycheck than what I was theoretically getting at my last job), so yay!

I heard about that indefinite stay put on the Prop 8 repeal. :( I'd appreciate it if anyone who's reading this could take sixty seconds to watch this vid to show you believe in equality for all American citizens:

Yay, last week of Freedom! And also, yay, job! It may not be 100% what you were looking for, but money is nice. How long a drive will it be for you this time?

Yeah, I saw that about the stay on marriages. It is...disappointing, but not entirely surprising. We'll see how things go, I'm fairly sure they're going to try and push it to the Supreme Court either way.

It's such a stupid debate. All it does is show how ignorant and stupid so many people still are in this country.

Last Weeks of Freedom are nice. Really gives you license to be as lazy as you've been feeling guilty about being in the weeks prior.

Getting paid for work: as it should be. Are there any updates with your previous employer?

There are backwards people in all countries, but at least so far some have managed not to legislate based on those tendencies. Unfortunately. we're not one of them.

Thanks! I am- my double feature last night was very pleasant, and I'm going down the ocean today to spend the weekend at my folks' house.

Yeah. You know, it's like they said at the rally, hate and ignorance never win for long. Love and acceptance always come through in the end.
