So, I've been hired to work in the HR department at my dad's company, so this week has been one of those Last Week of Freedom type deals. It'll be another 8-5 job, unfortunately, but the work shouldn't be beyond my abilities, one of the two ladies I'll be working for is very pleasant (haven't met the other yet), and it will be pretty great indeed to get a paycheck again (and a bigger paycheck than what I was theoretically getting at my last job), so yay!

I heard about that indefinite stay put on the Prop 8 repeal. :( I'd appreciate it if anyone who's reading this could take sixty seconds to watch this vid to show you believe in equality for all American citizens:

Yay, last week of Freedom! And also, yay, job! It may not be 100% what you were looking for, but money is nice. How long a drive will it be for you this time?

Yeah, I saw that about the stay on marriages. It is...disappointing, but not entirely surprising. We'll see how things go, I'm fairly sure they're going to try and push it to the Supreme Court either way.

Congrats on the job! I know you were hoping to find something on your own, but a paycheck is a paycheck.

I signed that pledge. I remember seeing that video in its original version a while ago. The whole thing is just very... frustrating, for lack of an appropriate word.
