I've been on Twitter sporadically for work purposes over the last week or so. I'm not a fan. I don't really understand how it works, and more than that I don't like how it plays into our collective laziness and self-absorption. For example, one page had a single entry, which read "can't sleep". Yeah. Going through random Twitter pages (again, for work purposes) is like spending thirty seconds in the most boring part of a stranger's day.
HOWEVER.
When Twitter lets me witness something like this:
I'm calling you out @NathanFillion. Your spaceship vs my spaceship. Last one to the crab nebula gets the beers in. Spacedock, 1 hour.
Yo, @simonpegg, be reasonable! My ship was a filming set, while the Enterprise is obviously real. Perhaps a drinking contest?
Well, that makes up for a whole mess of sins.
Bonus:
From Nathan Fillion's Twitter page: "I like falling asleep in the make up chair because I wake up better looking."
From Simon Pegg's Twitter page: "It's Friday and today I get to work with Tim Curry. You see me shiver with anticip ... ation!"
*happy sigh* You see why these guys are two of my favorite people?
Anyway, on the less fangirly side of things, people are coming to replace the carpet on a good portion of my folks' house. So that means this weekend will be spent really and truly dismantling my room for what really has to be the last time. *sad sigh*
