stuff that amuses me at work

I've been doing a lot of research on local companies recently, and that has involved going through a list of all the companies on CareerBuilder (argh). So far, I've come across some really interesting ones:

1. GenCorp- "I leave for ten minutes and Evil Co. is in shambles!" Actually, I'm not sure if I should be surprised or not that there's a company called the same thing as the antagonistic corporation from Time Chasers.
2. Alpha & Omega Publishing- Somehow the fact that it would be a Christian publishing company run by two crazy composite Actives makes it even better.
3. ASCAP- "We're agents Boetticher and Kennedy from American Shrimp and Crab Amalgamated Processors. Law enforcement branch." You know, I always thought MM saying they don't use the acronym for copyright reasons was a joke because ASCAP sounds like "ass cap," but it turns out ASCAP also stands for the American Society of Composers, Authors, & Publishers, sooo...

ETA: Lost tonight! Oh boy! fadeintodawn, gelatinous_goat, I know it won't be the same as when we were all hanging out in the common room, but if you guys happen to be on the computer tonight and want to watch it with me, I think we could do a great pseudo discussion post.

Haha, I haven't watched Lost with anyone in, like, years. I've gotten used to just sitting there being quietly surprised when something exciting happens. :P But yay for Season 6! \o/

Awesome. My roommate is watching with me, and we've already squeed about Daniel Faraday's flashback hair and giggled inappropriately about the name "Lapidus." :) See you when the show starts!

Daniel's flashback wig is EPIC. And it is impossible to stop the inappopriate thoughts whenever "Lapidus" is mentioned, no matter how cool the character himself is.

Additionally, I love how whenever anyone turns the Epic Wheel of Time-Traveling Doom, they get transported to the Tunisian desert. :P

Well, I suppose there's only so many places it could spit them out. I dunno, I think I would've preferred Disneyworld. Though then there's the slight possibility Ben wouldn't've gotten to use his stealth ninja ass-beating stick.

Also, I've been sucked into the clip show. Probably for the best, refresh my memory on the whole Jacob, Undead Island!Locke thing.

OK, so here it is to the best of my understanding: Locke isn't really Locke, he's that guy who was with Jacob in the earlier sequences (we haven't got much info on him). Somehow after Locke died and his body was brought back to the island, this guy...used it as a vessel? I don't know. Something like that.
