Ugh, I'm really not in love with the whole tragedy of River Song and the Doctor's epic romance.

I kind of am. I mean, it's like someone suffering from Alzheimer's, isn't it? And the spouse watching them slip away.

I don't know, I like River, and I like River and the Doctor together, but the way it was in this episode was like The Time Traveler's Wife mixed with Rose and Ten's whole business of being ZOMG so EPIC and so yet so DOOMED. Which is, to be honest, the same way they've always been written, but it made me more impatient than usual. Maybe because it was just so clearly point-blank stated? I dunno.
