Apparently, "creeped" as in "creeped out" isn't a word. Which I guess makes sense, because the past tense of "creep" as in "walk slowly" is "crept." Although, you have "dreamt" and "dreamed," and "leapt" and "leaped," which I'm pretty sure are acceptable either way. Hm. Also, in response to "Figglesworth," my spell check suggested "Wigglesworth." Now, I know I have a habit of clicking "Add to Dictionary" for words I know I'll be using more than once (many, many present participles missing their "g"s, thanks mainly to Claude), but when the hell did I use "Wigglesworth" and why did I decide it belonged in my dictionary?

Anyway, it's good to be writing again. I knew it would be, once I finally sat down and got started. Not before time too, since... well, I'm only eight fics away from having an even one hundred on my Plaude fic archive, and boy would it be nice to polish off my one hundredth in time for my fourth Plaude anniversary come May. ... Yeah, I know that's a truly stunning piece of geekitude right there, but dangit it's important to me. Honestly more important than my silly birthday this week. Meh, twenty-four, who cares? Well, it's kind of nice to be turning twenty-four on the twenty-fourth, that's only gonna happen once, but whatever.

I should be going. Charlie's about to make his entrance and I need to squeeze some Peter/Olivia flirtation in before he does. And then there's No Reservations and the US Being Human coming on later. Oh, and dinner, at some point.

*laughs* Wigglesworth is an adorably Dickensian word.

You know I'd be almost scared to complete 100 Plaude fics (or at least know about it, because for all I know I've hit that number already). Like it's just such a big deal, I'd be scared to lose inspiration. By which I mean...yay, 100th fic, that's exciting!

Any progress with the comment notifications?

I really don't know when I used it. But there it was, the only suggestion to Figglesworth...

Heh, actually, if you count the little meme fics and five-sentence fics I've done but not added to the archive, I've probably topped one hundred. But anyway, I have some ideas, and the fifty sentences, and Bingo (even though I've done quite a few of those already). I think I can manage eight more before May twenty-first.

Nope. Though LJ does know about it already- there was a thing about it on their main Help page.

I feel like there's some kid's series with Wigglesworth either in the title or as the author. Something about it looks familiar.

Wooo, excitement! I'm always amused your Plaude anniversary is my birthday.

Well, that's something, I guess. So presumably they're working on fixing it.

Most likely. I find myself thinking of Doctor Evil's cat Mister Bigglesworth.

XD I love it! Talk about a coincidence.

We can only hope. I really don't like trying to remember if there's a comment I should be expecting somewhere but have forgotten about.

What are you using Figglesworth for, anyway?

It's an awesome coincidence! I don't think anything cool happened on my Plaude anniversary. I don't even know when it is.

Yeah, that's tough; I haven't had problems with it in a while, but it's always annoying when you do, especially because once it's fixed you get like a million.

Uhh, well, in Fringe there's a character named Astrid Farnsworth, and in the episode "Brown Betty" the character based on her is named Esther Figglesworth. (It was a running joke in the first couple of episodes seasons, sorry, that Walter could never remember Astrid's name.)

I just go by the date I posted my first Plaude fic. Helps to have that first to latest archive I've got.

I'm really hoping that doesn't happen, that these comments will just kind of get skipped once service gets re-established.

Ah, that makes...some more sense than if you'd just made it up, I guess.

Well, in that case: July 4th is my Plaude anniversary. LOL, nothing cool happened on my Plaude anniversary after all.

Yeah, I wouldn't trust LJ to make things any easier on anyone.

Ah, yeah, I think I'm a bit better at coming up with names than reaching for a Doctor Seuss book.

Hee, no, no, nothing comes to mind.

*sigh* For pity's sake.

Hey, nothing wrong with doing that. I mean sure wikipedia's easier, but using Doctor Seuss books would be infinitely more hilarious.

Nothing at all. Nope. I'll have to come up with some way to celebrate. Possibly involving fireworks.

Well, maybe things will work out after all.

My friend used to have a cat named Mr. Wigglesworth.

For some reason, "creeped" not being a word blows my mind. *laughs*

Hee, nice.

Surprised the heck out of me, that's for sure. I dunno, maybe my spell check is just weird. It's been through a lot of abuse at my hands.
