This song is so brilliant, honestly. Not to spoil the surprise, but every line he sings is a palindrome, and he comes up with some real winners. And they rhyme too, which blows me away all the more.

ETA: Formerly a link to a YouTube vid of U2's "Window in the Skies," an amazing song with an even more amazing video. That vid's been taken down, but here is a new embedded vid. Says it's "official" too, so hopefully it won't be taken down.

OMG, I loved that Weird Al vid! Some of those were really clever. And I got so wrapped up in the palindromes that I didn't even notice he makes them rhyme! Wow.

The music one was great too! Makes me want to go to a concert or something. :)

He's dang clever, and has created some very good songs, even when they're not parodies. I think my favorite is "That's Your Horoscope (For Today)" which has a fun ska sound.

Same. *happy sigh*

Hee. I'm still partial to "White and Nerdy" as my favorite Weird Al song, but I did love this, too. Palindromes!

And that other one was amazing. I actually have the song from some fanmix or other but had never seen the video, but chills, indeed.

I think my most favorite Weird Al song is "That's Your Horoscope (For Today)." It's not a parody, but it's still really funny and fun to listen to.

Hee, I put it on that mix I made when Obama won, because it's just so heartening. But I love the video, it's such a wonderful celebration of musicians and performance and music and all that good stuff.

Hee. Hadn't heard it before, but I'm listening to it now and it's hilarious.

Well that would probably be it then ;) I love how some of they actually seemed to align some of the lyrics with some of the musicians looking like they're singing along. And what a wide range of musicians were in it.
