(no subject)

Arrrgh, don't wanna work, don't wanna work, don't wanna work... I don't remember how to do that one thing! And I can't do that other thing until I do the first thing! And it really won't take me that long to do the last thing, it can wait until tomorrow morning, I swear! And I still need to buy that thing in order to do the last thing, so I can't do it anyway! Arrrrgh. Thank goodness I only have one final, and there's a semi-decent time cushion between it and all this nonsense.

That's quite enough End of Semester Panic Theater, yeah? I have other stuff to talk about, numbered for convenience.

1. Got a friend who graduated last year coming to visit today- woohoo! Since the weather's the crappiest it's been for several weeks, it looks like we're going bowling. Wild times.

2. I just came across this interesting comm- anybody heard of it? justprompts, and it's giving me a ton of angsty Claude plot bunnies I'd really like to dive into right about now.

3. There are SO MANY albums I want to buy. I'd wager enough to easily fill up the 1.80-ish GBs of space I have left on my iPod. And these are albums I've been wanting to buy for ages but haven't out of cheapness or the dwindling space on said iPod. Now I actually do have the money to buy stuff (recent birthday + people looking for a quick and easy gift = iTunes money out the wazoo), but.. well, then there are potential future fanmixes to think about. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is my music wish list is as long as my arm, and what did I do yesterday? Bought the album of a band who's single (which isn't even on what I bought, it's from the EP) I heard in H&M not twenty-four hours earlier. It's a damn good thing the album's pretty awesome. Great Escape by The Rifles- bouncy, strong beats, thoughtful lyrics, some fun harmonies and the odd horn thrown in for flavor. The song I heard in H&M was "I Could Never Lie."

4. Anybody else watching Dollhouse? ( cut for spoilers and rampant fangirl-ery )
