Mmkay, so, I might miss Heroes tonight. I'm not sure, it'll depend on how long Neil Gaiman talks. Because he's coming to my campus.

:D

ETA: Oh lord. I got word Mister Gaiman has been twittering (first time I've ever used that particular verb before- worthy cause) about the fair speck on the map in which my college is located. So like a creep I had to check it out. Here's what he has to say:

It is beautiful. As if every photo should be captioned 'by nightfall their peaceful town would be the scene of unimaginable horror.'

Honestly? I couldn't put it better myself. Makes me wonder why we haven't had a good Zombie Walk up in this joint. *cackles*

SO, YEAH, NEIL GAIMAN IS AWESOME. BLINDINGLY INTELLIGENT AND FUNNY AND LOVELY. HE SIGNED MY GRUBBY COPY OF GOOD OMENS. I SAID I REALLY ENJOYED THE TALK AND HE SAID HE ENJOYED IT TOO. THERE'S A PICTURE OF THE SIGNATURE I WILL SHARE WHEN I HAVE IT. SORRY, [livejournal.com profile] zombres, IT WAS ONLY ONE SIGNATURE PER PERSON. GAH, WHAT AN AWESOME, AWESOME PERSON.

*cough* Okay, I'm good. More or less. Neil Gaiman's still awesome. He said his most fun collaboration was with Terry Pratchett on Good Omens. Can't say I'm surprised by that. He said they would "race each other to the next good bit." And he said that writers are really smart, so smart they invented Writer's Block. The questions taken from the audience were better than the ones asked by the faculty guy interviewing him. And, and- yeah. It was great.
