lotus0kidGood evening! I had an interesting day today. Spent it with some friendly young strangers in DC. Well, I say strangers- a stranger is never really a stranger if they're also a nerdfighter. Anyway, we ate pizza, saw a lovely congregation of kites on the Mall, and took in a suprasensorial experience at the Hirshhorn. Check out some of my kite pictures!
So that was neat. I also posted a little Rumbelle thing on Tumblr where basically Belle is Regina's croney and has no memories of life before Storybrooke. Or does she? *dundundunn*
Otherwise, I think I'll watch me some Blazing Saddles tonight. And, what the hey, let's have another fic-writing question.
2 – Name the fandoms you've written in, and how much you've written in that fandom, and if you still write in it.
Wow, okay, well, let's do some digging... In partially chronological order:
Firefly- one aborted multi-chapter fic, one completed multi-chapter fic, some meme fics, a crossover with Doctor Who; I'll always write for this fandom.
Codename Kids Next Door- three completed multi-chapter fics; I'll never write for this fandom again, most likely.
Pirates of the Caribbean- one completed multi-chapter fic, two meme fics; umm, probably not, but you never know.
John Doe- a completed one-shot; does anyone even remember this show? Yeah, thought not.
Don Quixote- a completed one-shot; not likely to dip a toe in here again, though I'm proud of what I did.
Artemis Fowl- one aborted multi-chapter fic; *sigh* that could've been something, but the muse deserted me and never returned.
Dodgeball- a completed one-shot; heh, um, I dig Alan Tudyk, okay? Like A LOT. Even in a pirate costume.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer- one aborted multi-chapter fic, a meme fic or two; again, that multi-chapter fic could've been cool had the muse stuck around, but alas. Otherwise, I guess I'd be cool with writing Buffy, though my grasp on canon is hazy at best.
The Incredibles- a completed one-shot; I'm surprised I didn't get more into this fandom- it definitely meets the "world of stories" requirement. I still think about attempting an Edna Mode backstory fic sometimes.
Spider-Man- one aborted multi-chapter fic; which was a crossover with Hitchhiker's Guide the Galaxy, believe it or not. After Spider-Man 2 came out, I.. kinda went through a phase of fangirling Otto Octavius. What can I say? Alfred Molina made it WORK. But, once again, the muse has departed.
V for Vendetta- one Four Things fic; aww, well, who knows? Maybe someday.
Jeeves & Wooster- one semi-sorta-depends on the day-not really-aborted multi-chapter fic look I don't want to talk about it, two completed one-shots, and a remix of one of said one-shots; I said I don't want to talk about it!
Heroes- 100+ fics of varying lengths; MY OTP 4EVA. AND EVA. I mean that, even if there hasn't been much production lately. The well isn't dry, I'm leaving the field fallow, get it?
Bones- two meme fics crossed over with The Middleman and NCIS; nope.
NCIS- one meme fic, see above; see above.
Alice- one meme fic, one crossover with Heroes; I think about stuff sometimes, but nothing serious.
The Middleman- one completed multi-chapter fic, one crossover with Better Off Ted, various meme fics; aww, sure I'll write for this fandom! Always!
Better Off Ted- various meme fics, crossover with Middleman; this one too! Though it can be kind of intimidating sometimes, dialogue-wise.
Pushing Daisies- various meme fics; this one three! Though, again, intimidating dialogue and, I dunno, I've never gotten a real idea independent from a meme for it.
Doctor Who- a completed one-shot, various meme fics; sure, I guess, if I got a good idea for it, which I haven't. Also, definitely intimidating, canon-wise.
Reaper- various one-shots and meme fics, one crossover with Good Omens; probably, if I had an idea or a meme and if I ever get around to re-watching the second season.
Watchmen- a completed one-shot, meme fics; possibly, I dunno. I almost attempted a multi-chapter on the kink meme once, but meh.
Psych- a completed one-shot, a meme fic; I've had fun with it in the past, but unlikely.
White Collar- various meme fics, one crossover with Heroes; possibly.
Discworld- a meme fic; oh jeez, this may be the most intimidating fandom of them all.
Burn Notice- a completed one-shot, a meme fic; umm, less likely than White Collar, more likely than Psych.
Fringe- a completed multi-chapter meme fic, another meme fic; not super likely, though I like the world.
Grimm- a weird sorta series I'm maybe not done with yet, a kink meme fic; pretty definitely for this one.
X-Men- a completed one-shot, a kink meme fic; not particularly likely, but maybe a Darwin/Alex bunny will bite hard enough someday.
Once Upon a Time- a completed multi-chapter fic, three and counting one-shots; gee, ya' think?
