Well, possibly that was a miscalculation- he does say he worries constantly about Sherlock. Ooh, John would make an excellent companion. Heh, I'd say he is a companion, Sherlock's companion. Isn't there an AU fic out there where Sherlock is a Time Lord, the Detective?
