I may, however, be watching Hot Fuzz tonight, as I just bought it yesterday. Wooo! Go watch it! It's fantastic! Anywho, yeah, that review is pretty on the money. I didn't find Scott Pilgrim insufferable, but he's definitely the low self-esteem loser, when he's not kicking one of the exes asses.
I've heard good things about Secretary, but never actually pursued seeing it. It's definitely worth a look. BDSM isn't for everyone of course, but this is still a sensitive and heartfelt look at that kind of relationship.
