Wow, it's been a while since I dreamed this blatantly of slash. Also, I'm slightly surprised at my mind for being so.. prosaic? Seriously, it was like a bad kink meme prompt: "two male characters wake up naked in bed together and don't know how/why they got that way." For me, it was Peter and Adam, and also maybe Peter and Isaac (oh, Peter, you bicycle, you). The funny thing is, Peter and Adam just kind of brushed it off. This happens often, guys? Probably. Anyway, the real main event was Mohinder and Matt. I don't know if they had the one night amnesia as well, but for some reason they were both sitting on the floor in my mom's kitchen (which should've really tipped me off, but whatever, dream logic), and Mohinder said something along the lines of "Just admit you have feelings for me" and Matt hooked a hand around his neck and planted a kiss on him. Then got up and walked away, leaving Mo all goggle-eyed and shocked and leaving me cheering as my second favorite slash couple had just become canon. Overall, it was fun to see, but confusing since you'd think the re-watch would've placed Plaude squarely in the forefront of my brain. I mean, Matt and Mohinder weren't even in the episode we watched last night, right? Let alone Adam. Whatever. Time to go to work.

Aww, Matt/Mohinder. That was sweet, for...as long as it lasted. *laughs* In regards to Peter and Isaac, I'd just be like, Simone probably just stepped out for a break in which to thank god for her amazing luck. But you know Peter and Adam were totally doing it.

Anyway: yay, slashy dreams! Mine have been sadly lacking for a while.

You know, I'm pretty sure actual canon Matt/Mohinder interaction was mostly them arguing. But fic has convinced me it coulda/woulda/shoulda been a world of adorable. I'm not even 100% positive Peter and Isaac had the one night amnesia, but... actually, I'm not sure how I knew one night amnesia was even involved, since Peter and Adam so obviously did it. Hm.

Well, with Matthinder, I like to think there were hints that they had happy adorable times together in between the seasons. Like the "World's Best Dad" apron and the fact that Matt had to have lost all the weight some how. But it's true their canon interactions where rather disappointing.

That's true! Though.. it kind of makes how it goes in canon all the more painful.

Oh, definitely. But at least they're both on the show still. *grumble, grumble*

Just barely, though. They've both bounced back from certain death at least once or twice each now. Heh, I just realized Matt's been riddled with bullets two times- Sylar turned his bullets on him in S1, and recently Matt got Sylar shot in his body. That's some terrible symmetry right there.

And both times it was totally Sylar's fault and part of Matt being a hero. I don't know if that's better or worse than having a scaly web cocoon making stage.

In the end, really, since this all began Matt's life has been an unending parade of suck- the sole exceptions being Molly and Mattie. But, I guess, he hasn't actually killed anyone like Mo did during said scaly web cocoon making stage (jeez, that was weird). So, that's something.

They've both had pretty sucky luck. I guess Matt might feel guilty for the people "Sylar" killed while in Matt's body. Plus he's had his dark moments, too. Boy, I feel sorry for Peter sometimes, but everyone else on this show has suffered about as much.

That Matthinder moment is so cute. I wish that had happened in canon. :) My Christmas wish is canon Matthinder for the latter half of the season! (Even though it won't happen.)

They really sting, because I clearly remember hearing about Kring being excited to write a My Two Dads thing for M3, but then all of a sudden Mohinder was jetting off to parts unknown and the few times they were together all they did was argue. As tin-hat-conspiracy-theorist as it sounds, I think the producers or whatever couldn't bear to even imply the existence of relationship between Matt and Mohinder and told Kring to break it up.

Yeah, their canon was not satisfying at all. There was such potential there for them to even platonically be great co-parents, and the writers just kind of threw it away. They haven't been able to get it back since then. At this point I really want to see some kind of reunion now, just to get more interaction between them to work with.

Which would suck, because a Matt/Mohinder relationship would be so much greater than a Claire/Gretchen one, in my opinion. But if you're going to include a gay couple (even implicitly or one-sidedly) in your TV show, lesbians are probably more palatable than gay men, just because of our society's impressions. Still doesn't justify discarding a perfectly good same-sex parenting storyline, though. :(

That's kind of a problem I have with Heroes. They present all these great avenues the story could explore, but it never actually does. However, I did love when Matt thinks to call Mohinder about Head!Sylar. But, again, he didn't end up doing it. *sigh*

Agreed all around. So disappointing.

Eh, it's not worth the effort. The plain fact that I'm telling you all about it shows how rare that kind of dream is for me.
