So, I've been hired to work in the HR department at my dad's company, so this week has been one of those Last Week of Freedom type deals. It'll be another 8-5 job, unfortunately, but the work shouldn't be beyond my abilities, one of the two ladies I'll be working for is very pleasant (haven't met the other yet), and it will be pretty great indeed to get a paycheck again (and a bigger paycheck than what I was theoretically getting at my last job), so yay!
I heard about that indefinite stay put on the Prop 8 repeal. :( I'd appreciate it if anyone who's reading this could take sixty seconds to watch this vid to show you believe in equality for all American citizens:
You can also show support by signing this pledge. Thanks.
And now, I'm going to indulge my current Last Week of Freedom with some Daily Show and a double feature of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, to scratch that Edgar Wright itch Scott Pilgrim left wanting.

Yeah, I saw that about the stay on marriages. It is...disappointing, but not entirely surprising. We'll see how things go, I'm fairly sure they're going to try and push it to the Supreme Court either way.
Have fun!

No, not super surprising. *sigh*
Mm, it's going well so far.

Yeah. It's still frustrating.
That's good. I've still got another full week to go before classes start again and I know I'll be enjoying that one.

It's such a stupid debate. All it does is show how ignorant and stupid so many people still are in this country.
Last Weeks of Freedom are nice. Really gives you license to be as lazy as you've been feeling guilty about being in the weeks prior.
