Mmkay, so, I might miss Heroes tonight. I'm not sure, it'll depend on how long Neil Gaiman talks. Because he's coming to my campus.

:D

ETA: Oh lord. I got word Mister Gaiman has been twittering (first time I've ever used that particular verb before- worthy cause) about the fair speck on the map in which my college is located. So like a creep I had to check it out. Here's what he has to say:

It is beautiful. As if every photo should be captioned 'by nightfall their peaceful town would be the scene of unimaginable horror.'

Honestly? I couldn't put it better myself. Makes me wonder why we haven't had a good Zombie Walk up in this joint. *cackles*

Heh, hey now, NYC is a perfectly acceptable reason to miss it as well. At least a non-finale episode. I'm not sure where well-known author's talk on campus lands on the scale.

Admittedly, I did end up catching Heroes Tuesday afternoon, even though I was on vacation. *laughs* My friend who I was with is a fan of the show and was three episodes behind. But it was raining for most of Monday, so we watched "Into Asylum", "Turn and Face the Strange", and "1961" on Monday, then "I Am Sylar" on Tuesday. It was amusing because she's not in any fandom at all, but she watches the show and thinks all the characters are gay for each other. Especially Peter and Nathan.

I would say that in terms of well-known authors, Neil Gaiman is on the most awesome side of the scale. So it's perfectly acceptable. ;) What time is the talk? Maybe you'll be able to make it home by 9.

HA! Seriously, Heroes is sitting on an advertising gold mine- "Come see the slashiest show on television! We got it all, a pairing for every taste- mortal enemies, hetero life-partners, Italian brothers!"

Agreed. Well, the talk starts at 7:30 (good freaking news- it is boiling outside, where it'll happen), and his Twitter page says it should be two-ish hours long, and there's no way I'm jumping in halfway through. So, yeah. It'll be to the Internet with me tomorrow.
