The night seems all the darker after the sun-filled California day. This back road out in the hills has no streetlamps, so Peter leaves the headlights on in his rented car. Claude leans against the grill, and Peter hops up to sit on the hood.

I really loved that image. I remember appreciating it a lot when I first read it, and it's still wonderful.

Also, I really liked that you used Candice for good. I've kind of grown fond of her in retrospect, possibly just because I like Missy so much.
